The rose 'Prince Jardinier' is a tribute to the romance and refined grace of the French nobility, named after Prince Louis Albert de Broglie, also known as Le Prince Jardinier (The Gardening Prince). This rose embodies the prince’s passion and love for gardening, with a special focus on the beauty and scent a garden can offer.
With its very pale pink shades and the ability to open into an almost saucer-shaped bloom, 'Prince Jardinier' offers a breathtaking display. The flowers are strikingly open, with soft and swirling petals that spread wide enough to reveal the central pollen, adding to its unique charm.
The large-flowered Rosa 'Prince Jardinier' is characterized by the twisted velvet petal structure so typical of garden roses. This structure, combined with its particularly romantic appearance, makes it a favourite among rose lovers seeking something truly special for their garden.
Prince Jardinier Rose as a Cut Flower: This rose is not only a visual masterpiece; its scent is equally enchanting and enhances the romantic atmosphere in any garden or outdoor space. Whether planted alone or as part of a mixed border, 'Prince Jardinier' will undoubtedly add a touch of noble elegance and romance. Its flowers are perfect for cutting and placing in a vase, where they enrich any room with their wonderful fragrance.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
