Product form

With pale pink flowers like a mini hibiscus, 'Sweet Babylon Eyes'® completes our wide range of exceptional Hulthemia Persica hybrids, which breeder Interplant launched with great success in 2015. What is the difference between 'Sweet Babylon Eyes'® and its pink sister varieties? Well, this variety is clearly pastel in color, the pink is beautiful and delicate and not as strong as the lilac pink of 'Trendy Babylon Eyes'® or pinkish pink like 'Babylon Queen'®. Of course 'Sweet Babylon Eyes'® shares the dark red eye with its striking sisters. But the soft cream pink is unique. Yes, it even changes a little depending on flowering time and temperature and can be light yellow, a little more white or a little more pink. 'Sweet Babylon Eyes'® remains pleasantly small with a height of approx. 60 cm, so that it can be planted in the foreground of the bed or in a container. Yes, it can even be used as a low hedge. The flowers are quite small, like those of their sisters, but they are produced tirelessly and float above the healthy foliage like exotic dancers. Anyone who looks 'Sweet Babylon Eyes'® in the eye is hopelessly lost.

Care Instructions

Caring for rose 'Sweet Babylon Eyes' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
