About Japanese Rose BI – Song of Hiroshima (Song of Hiroshima)

Discover Japanese Rose BI – Song of Hiroshima, a rose that not only delights the eye but also touches the soul. Its delicate lilac-pink flowers, elegantly gathered in clusters, give the shrub a light, almost ethereal appearance, as if floating in the breeze. This rose tells a story of emotional depth and gentle strength, perfectly reflecting the Japanese philosophy in which flowers are not only seen but also felt. The name, ‘Song of Hiroshima’, poetically conveys the meaning of remembrance, vulnerability, and hope, embodying the transient beauty and resilience for which Japan is so renowned.

With its natural growth habit and elegant form, Song of Hiroshima is a beautiful addition to borders, natural gardens, and cut-flower gardens. Its soft color and loose flowering habit create a serene atmosphere and combine effortlessly with a variety of perennials. The clustered blooms create a rich display without making the shrub look heavy, while the flowers move with the light and breeze, giving it an almost musical quality. Let this exceptional shrub rose enrich your garden with meaningful beauty.

As a family-run business with more than 40 years of experience growing roses, Belle Époque Rozenkwekerij in Aalsmeer guarantees top quality, direct from the grower. We cultivate our roses with passion and expertise and are proud of our Planet Proof certification, which underscores our sustainable growing methods. Japanese Rose BI – Song of Hiroshima is an exclusive addition to our new Japanese garden rose range for 2026, available exclusively from Belle Époque. Choose a rose that offers more than beauty alone: choose a story.
