Discover the timeless beauty of Rosa 'Marie Pavié', a rare and elegant ever-flowering white shrub rose, introduced in 1888 by the French nurseryman Allégatière. This beautiful rose, named after a lady from Agram (now Zagreb), is a true classic in the garden world and a must-have for every rose lover.

Rosa 'Marie Pavié' stands out for its blushing white, fragrant flowers that reach a diameter of four centimeters. The flowers are double, with some visible stamens, and have a loose layout that adds to their charm. The young leaves have a mahogany color that later changes to matte green, with few spines, which makes care easier.

With a compact growth habit that reaches a height of approximately 50 cm, Rosa 'Marie Pavié' is the perfect low-growing bedding plant. It is highly resistant to fungal attack, making it a healthy and thriving addition to any garden. This polyantha rose is particularly suitable for flower beds, but also beautiful in borders or flower boxes, where it creates a warm atmosphere.

Care Instructions

Caring for rose 'Marie Pavié' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
