The Rosa ‘New Dawn White’ is an elegant, hardy climbing rose that fills your garden with creamy white flowers with a subtle pink tint in the bud. As the flowers open, they brighten to almost pure white – a tasteful effect that beautifully complements its shiny dark green leaves.
This classic climbing rose has been beloved by gardeners for decades due to its strong growth, reliability, and long flowering period. With a height of 2 to 3 meters, it is ideal for covering a pergola, wall, fence, or rose arch. It also thrives well in a spacious pot.
In terms of care, New Dawn White is simple. In the first two years after planting, you hardly need to prune. After that, prune in spring once the risk of frost has passed. Cutting side shoots back to two buds from the main branch encourages abundant flowering. Regularly removing spent flowers extends the blooming period.
Thanks to its robustness and excellent winter hardiness, it does well in the Dutch climate. It prefers a sunny spot but also grows well in partial shade. From June to September, it treats your garden to a sea of flowers with a gentle scent.
At Belle Epoque, you order directly from the nursery in Aalsmeer. This ensures a healthy plant, carefully grown and delivered straight away. Add the elegant New Dawn White to your garden and enjoy this classic beauty that blooms faithfully for years.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
