Rosa 'Ballerina': a graceful shrub rose for every garden
The Rosa 'Ballerina' is a shrub rose that, with its delicate pink blossoms and graceful appearance, forms a focal point in any garden. This versatile rose reaches a height of about 90 cm and is ideal for borders, rose beds, and other garden designs.
A play of colours The Rosa 'Ballerina' blooms in compact clusters with flowers that open in a deep pink shade and fade to pale pink. With the white centre and dark stamens, your garden gains an elegant colour palette. After flowering, small orange rose hips form, which also beautify your garden in autumn.
Strong and versatile This rose is loved for its versatility and strong disease resistance. It can be used as ground cover, a low climbing rose, or a free-standing shrub. Suitable for both sunny and lightly shaded spots, the Rosa 'Ballerina' is perfect to combine with other pink-flowering perennials for a harmonious effect.
Care and location The Rosa 'Ballerina' grows best in a slightly acidic to neutral soil that is well-drained and moderately fertile. Pruning is optional, but cutting the plant back by a third in spring promotes healthy growth and abundant flowering. For a lush effect, you can plant three to five plants per square metre.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
