Japanese rose Ioli at a glance
Imagine a rose so unique that, until recently, it could only be admired in Japan. Meet Rosa ‘Ioli’ (Wabara), an enchanting spray rose that Belle Époque Rose Nursery is proud to introduce to Europe for the first time. With its delicate lavender-beige hues, subtly wavy petals, and unmistakably nostalgic appearance, Ioli is a true dream for every lover of exclusive and rare roses. This special introduction is even more remarkable: thanks to our collaboration with the renowned Wabara collection, Ioli will be available in a very limited edition of just 45 plants in 2025/2026. You could be one of the very first gardening enthusiasts in Europe to cherish this rare beauty in your garden.
Ioli’s flowers appear in elegant clusters, making it an ideal candidate for a variety of garden applications. It shines in flower-filled borders, creates “rose shrub clouds” in soft hues, and is perfect for your cutting garden. Ioli’s unique appearance also makes it exceptionally suitable for bridal arrangements and breathtaking bouquets, where it is guaranteed to attract everyone’s attention.
At Belle Époque, you can enjoy roses sourced directly from our nursery in Aalsmeer. With more than 40 years of expertise and a passion for roses, we guarantee the highest quality. Our cultivation is also Planet Proof certified, meaning you are bringing home not only a beautiful rose but also one grown sustainably. Choose the exclusivity and unparalleled quality of Belle Époque and give your garden a touch of Japanese elegance with Rosa ‘Ioli’.
Forty years of nothing but roses
Belle Époque is a family business, not a wholesaler. From our greenhouses in Aalsmeer, we have been growing only roses for over four decades — and every plant we send out is personally selected by us. This way, you receive not a catalog rose, but a plant ready to grow.

Subtle Beauty with Plenty of Blooms
This rose is very healthy and produces lots of flowers, which is wonderful for adding life to the garden. The color is quite subtle, so it complements a more colorful garden nicely without overpowering it. However, the individual blooms are on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if you prefer larger roses. Overall, a lovely, low-maintenance addition with delicate charm.

Prachtig roosje met een subtiele kleur. Wil graag een Japanse roos eens in mijn tuin en kijken hoe ze zich zal ontwikkelen.
