Be enchanted by the Dannahue (Ausa6b15), a David Austin rose that adorns the modern garden with its irresistible charm. This compact shrub rose unfolds an abundance of semi-double, salmon-pink flowers that beautifully contrast with the deep green foliage. But Dannahue offers more than visual beauty; its medium-strong fragrance, enriched with fresh notes of lemon, lychee, and apricot, transforms every corner of your garden into an aromatic paradise.

Dannahue's versatility is its strength. Thanks to its bushy, upright growth and modest height of 90-125 cm, it is the perfect choice for both lush borders and intimate city gardens. It feels just as at home in a generous pot on your balcony or terrace and can even beautify facades or fences. Even on a north-facing wall, where other roses struggle, Dannahue excels, making it ideal for any spot where space is limited but beauty and fragrance are desired.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have cherished the art of rose cultivation for over 40 years. When you choose the Dannahue, you receive a strong, healthy plant, straight from our nursery. Our passion for roses and sustainable cultivation guarantees you a rose that not only shines now but provides years of enjoyment in your garden. Choose Dannahue and bring a touch of English elegance with Dutch quality into your home.

Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
