Imagine a rose that combines the depth of a rich plum and the softness of velvet in every bloom. That is the Rosa 'Burgundy Ice', a Floribunda rose that creates an enchanting atmosphere with its unique, semi-double flowers. The medium-sized, dark red to plum-colored flowers with striking stamens unfold in lush clusters, while a subtle, pleasant fragrance fills the air. 'Burgundy Ice' is a true eye-catcher, a rose of rare beauty that exudes elegance and invites bees and butterflies.
This versatile shrub rose, standing 50 to 100 cm tall, is a perfect addition to various garden styles. Plant it as a solitary focal point, in charming groups for a lush effect, or integrate it into flowering borders where it pairs beautifully with other perennials. The 'Burgundy Ice' is also excellent as a cut flower; its unique color and delicate scent bring a touch of Belle Époque charm indoors.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have nurtured a deep passion for roses for over 40 years. The 'Burgundy Ice' has been carefully and skillfully cultivated, directly from our family business to your garden. Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
