The David Austin rose St. Swithun (Auswith) is a true ode to romance and elegance, straight from the heart of our nursery. This majestic English rose enchants with exceptionally large, richly filled flowers, each with more than 120 delicate petals gracefully arranged around a characteristic central button eye. The color starts soft pink in the center and subtly fades to a refined, lighter pink shade at the edges, a visual feast that lasts throughout summer and autumn. The intense, pure myrrh fragrance adds a classic and unforgettable scent to your garden, a fragrance that invites you to dream.
Thanks to its vigorous growth and reliable repeat flowering, the St. Swithun rose is remarkably versatile. Whether you plant it as an impressive, tall shrub that draws attention in a border, or as an elegant climber that gracefully winds up a wall, pergola, or fence; this rose feels at home everywhere. It is the perfect choice for cottage gardens, romantic landscapes, or as a solitary eye-catcher that adds structure and refinement to any outdoor space. Its robust character guarantees a lush bloom that returns season after season.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
