Be enchanted by the timeless elegance of the Rosa 'Margaret Merril', a refined floribunda that has been winning hearts since its introduction by Harkness in 1977. Its pure white, semi-double flowers unfold with a touch of soft pink at the heart, creating a classic and subtle color play. This award-winning rose is known worldwide for its irresistibly strong, classic rose fragrance that fills any garden or interior with a luxurious scent. The healthy, glossy green foliage provides a perfect contrast to the delicate flowers, which appear in beautiful clusters.
This repeat-blooming beauty blooms abundantly from early summer to late autumn, treating you to months of its lush splendor. With its compact and bushy growth of about 80-90 cm, the 'Margaret Merril' is exceptionally versatile. Plant it in borders for a romantic look, create a fragrant focal point in a large pot on your terrace or balcony, or pick its elegant flowers for an enchanting indoor bouquet. Moreover, it is a welcome guest for bees and butterflies, who are attracted by its nectar and scent.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you can buy this 'Margaret Merril' rose directly from the grower. Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
