Be enchanted by the romantic allure of the Eustacia Vye® (Ausegdon), a masterpiece from the David Austin collection and a true eye-catcher in any garden. Inspired by Thomas Hardy's iconic character, this English rose unfolds a treasure of apricot-pink flowers that open in an elegant, shallow cup shape. The abundance of petals subtly changes shade as they mature, while the red-tinted stems add an extra touch of color and contrast. Each flower is a work of art in itself, enriched with an intense, fruity fragrance that stimulates the senses and attracts bees and butterflies.
The Eustacia Vye® is a robust and versatile shrub rose, perfect for various garden uses. With its bushy, healthy growth and a height of about 90 to 140 cm, it is ideal as a solitary centerpiece, in lush borders, or as a charming hedge. Its beauty also shines fully in a spacious pot on the terrace. This repeat-flowering rose surprises you from early summer to late autumn with its continuous floral display. Its excellent resistance to wind and diseases also makes it ideal for both open, sunny locations and spots with partial shade, even on a north-facing wall.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you buy your Eustacia Vye® directly from the grower. With over 40 years of family experience in rose cultivation, we guarantee you a top-quality rose, grown with passion and sustainability. Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
