Let yourself be seduced by the timeless beauty of Rosa ‘Claire Austin’ (Ausprior), one of David Austin’s most beloved English roses. This creamy white bloom opens with elegant buds that develop into lush, flat rosettes, each richly filled with up to 120 petals. ‘Claire Austin’ exudes classic romance and fills your garden with an unforgettable, refined myrrh scent, subtly enriched with hints of vanilla and heliotrope. A true sensory experience that transforms any garden into a dreamscape.

Its versatile growth habit makes ‘Claire Austin’ an asset for various garden styles. Use it as a generous shrub rose 120-150 cm tall in borders or as an impressive small climbing rose reaching up to 2.5 meters. Perfect for covering a pergola, rose arch, fence, or wall with its beautiful flowers. The healthy, medium-green foliage provides a stunning contrast and highlights the pure creamy white flowers, which appear throughout the season.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery, a family business with over 40 years of experience in Aalsmeer, you are assured of top quality. We deliver your ‘Claire Austin’ plant directly from our nursery, where it is grown with expertise and sustainable cultivation methods. This way, you receive a strong, healthy rose that will bloom abundantly for years and enrich your garden with its unparalleled fragrance and beauty.

Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
