Roos the Mill on the Floss' is a winter-hardy deciduous shrub. This rose has an informal growth and reaches a height and width of 1.5 meters. The flowers can be single or semi-double and open flat. Some are lightly scented. They generally rebloom and are borne either singly or in small clusters from mid to late summer. Shrub roses require only light pruning, although old and weak wood should be removed from the base occasionally. 'The Mill On The Floss' bears flowers that open medium pink and become pale as they open and mature, with fine dark red edges

To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again.
