My first introduction to roses took place in 2011 during a business trip to Kenya. There I was enchanted by the beauty of the rose 'Prince Jardinier', and that marked the beginning of my passion for roses. Since then I have had the privilege of traveling extensively to growers and breeders around the world, including Kordes, Tantau, Meilland, Austin and Dutch rose developers. A special experience was my trip to Japan, where I was deeply impressed by the rose-giving culture. A memorable moment was when we gifted a rose to a woman in a hotel and the emotion it created. Roses truly have the ability to give us more than we sometimes realize. In 2016 I moved to Aalsmeer for work, where I met the Belle Époque company. I was impressed with their extensive range of roses, the rich history of the company and the quality of the roses they sold. After several years, I am delighted that I am now the proud owner of this wonderful company. With a beautiful name, a rich history and the highest quality roses produced in the Netherlands, we can offer our customers the best.
