There were rarely any real novelties and innovations on the rose market, but in 2014 the well-known rose breeder Interplant presented its rose collection "Babylon Eyes" at an international trade fair. The roses in this collection are something new and special in every respect. The flowering period starts in April and only ends in late autumn. Each blossom is unique and has a striking eye in an appealing contrasting color. Around the eye, the colors change depending on the weather and offer the viewer a constant new play of colors. The Babylon Eyes roses are self-cleaning, so no pruning is necessary. Because these roses are only about 40-60 cm high and grow extremely compactly, they are ideal for planting pots, balcony boxes and even classic hanging baskets. The picture of these beautiful roses is completed by the glossy green leaves and the very good disease resistance.

Caring for rose 'Glorious Babylon Eyes' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
