The 'Early Windflower' is an exceptional peony that charms with its single, pure white flowers of approximately 8 cm. Although the flowers are relatively small, the stems bear at least 2 to 4 flowers each, which ensures an impressive abundance of flowers. This plant is not only very vigorous, but can also grow into a robust and full clump that enriches the garden with an abundance of elegantly curved flowers.

The leaves are particularly graceful, making the 'Early Windflower' a beautiful addition to the garden from start to finish. The plant is often confused with P. emodi, but is distinguished by its more vigorous growth and the number of seed pods. A unique feature of the 'Early Windflower' is that this hybrid only exceptionally produces seed, unlike the true P. emodi.
