To order

Ordering from Belle Epoque is easy and can be done 24/7 via our website. You can pay securely with iDeal, credit card or afterwards with Klarna. After your order you will receive a confirmation email with a link with which you can track the delivery status.

We have many types of roses in stock, and ordering online is effortless. Each rose has a clear description, so you know exactly what you are getting.

How can I order?

Ordering roses is simple and goes as follows:

  • Find the rose of your choice and click on it.
  • Choose the desired (and available) variant: bare root, in a pot or an XL climbing rose in a pot.
  • Then select the desired quantity.
  • Add your choice to the shopping cart.
  • Go to 'checkout now' to pay.
  • Enter your details and select the desired payment method. 
  • Once your order has been shipped, it will be processed by us. We will send you an email back to confirm that the order has arrived with us. 
  • Due to the limited availability of some special varieties, a rose may not be in stock. In that case, you will receive an email about this and we will immediately refund the purchase amount.
  • When your roses are sent, you will receive another email containing a track & trace code. You can track the order with this code.

Change order

You can change your order as long as it has not yet been shipped. To do this, send an email to info@belle-epoque.nl and state your order number. You can also send us a message via the chat function at the bottom of the webshop page.

Cancel order

Canceling an order is possible until your order has been shipped. Cancellation is possible by sending an email to info@belle-epoque.nl containing the order number.

Pay

Pay in the way you like. In addition to iDeal, you can also pay afterwards via Klarna. Secure payment is possible with various payment methods. All our prices include VAT. Do you have a large order? We are happy to help you!

Deliver

Your order is usually delivered to your home within 5 working days. If a rose is not in stock, it may take a little longer and we will notify you. We make clear agreements about when your order will be at your home.

Your roses are well packed for a safe journey. They are delivered via DPD or PostNL and can be followed via Track & Trace in the order confirmation.

Where is my order?

Sometimes an order is delayed because the affiliated grower cannot deliver on time. We prefer to deliver your order at once, so it may sometimes happen that it is delayed. Do you have a question about your order? Please email info@belle-epoque.nl with the order number and we will respond as quickly as possible.

How do you ship the roses?

Nowadays, bare root roses are packed in paper and no longer in plastic in a box. Because roses have a short shelf life in the sealed packaging, it is wise to immediately put them in a bucket of cold water upon arrival.

We prune potted roses back to protect them from heat and lack of light. Upon receipt, remove the roses from the box immediately and water them well. The leaves may be slightly discolored due to the lack of light in the box, but this will clear up quickly. Sometimes a stem can be broken because we decided not to cut everything short. So you may have to do some pruning or cut flowers yourself upon arrival. We hope that a flower bud remains intact during transport, so that you can put it in a vase.

Pruning upon arrival and placing the rose in the ground is wise, because it is good for the plant if there are few leaves and long stems. Sometimes it is also good to immerse the rose in a bucket of water after arrival before planting. Be careful with the roots and try not to damage them. That is why we recommend that you sometimes cut the pot when removing it.

What is the delivery time?

Depending on the crowds and availability, your order will usually be delivered within 5 working days.

If we transfer your order to the shipping company, you will receive an email. This contains the delivery date and track & trace code with which you can track the order.

Is the delivery date inconvenient?

Unfortunately, we are not yet ready to change the date. It is therefore best to have the roses delivered to the neighbors. If no one is at home, PostNL will automatically come by again.

Why don't I receive my order within 2-3 days?​

We deliver fresh roses directly from the nursery. Your order will not be collected until you have placed it. This way you are always assured of good quality.

I have not received a confirmation or delivery message

After placing your order you will automatically receive an email with confirmation. When your order is shipped you will receive an email with a track & code. Didn't you receive anything? Please check your junk mail first. If you have any questions, send a message to info@belle-epoque.nl and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Can I also collect my order?​

Yes, this is certainly possible. Our address is Rietwijkeroordweg 28, 1432 JE in Aalsmeer.

A bare root rose always catches on. The main causes for growth disorders are frost, too much or little water, the (well-intentioned) application of incorrect nutrients/pesticides and the health of the soil. Because we cannot control the conditions and care remotely, we unfortunately cannot offer a growth guarantee. It remains nature and good care and soil are essential. Potted roses are a good alternative if you have any doubts or lack of experience with roses in a particular location. A rose in a pot has already been established and therefore has an advantage over a bare root rose.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to return your order to Belle Epoque within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason. You do this by informing us by e-mail. You will receive the information from us by e-mail to return your order. You will receive the purchase amount back into your account. The plants must arrive to us in healthy condition and undamaged.  

Return shipping costs

The costs incurred to return your order are at your own expense.
