Tip for placing an insect hotel:
Hang the insect hotel in a sunny, dry spot – preferably facing south or southeast. Make sure the hotel hangs at least 30 cm above the ground, is securely attached, and is protected from rain. Place it near flowers or shrubs (like roses) so that the insects have food nearby. This increases the chances that your hotel will be occupied quickly!
