Which type of rose suits your garden best?
- Pot: A potted rose is a rose that is planted in a pot and is delivered. This means that the rose has already developed a root system and can be planted immediately. Potted roses can be planted all year round.
- Root: This refers to a rose that is supplied as “bare root”. These roses are taken from the ground and are supplied without a pot or soil. They are usually planted in the fall or early spring.
- Standard rose: A standard rose is a rose that is grafted onto a stem, giving it a tree-like shape. They are very decorative and ideal for smaller gardens or as eye-catching elements in borders.
- XL Climbing Rose: (150-200cm supplied) This refers to an extra large climbing rose. Climbing roses grow vertically and can be trained up walls, pergolas or rose arches. The XL version means that the rose is already larger and stronger when delivered, which encourages faster and more impressive growth.
