Rosa 'Albertine' (Barbier,1921) is a famous rambler rose. Unlike most ramblers, this strong climber is large-flowered. Rosa Albertine produces masses of copper-red flower buds from which abundant clusters of large filled salmon-pink double flowers in bowl shape appear, measuring up to 9 centimeters. The back of the flower is coral pink, making the rose a special sight. It is an exceptionally strong climbing rose with good disease resistance that can grow up to 5 meters high. The leaves are dark green and glossy. The pleasant intense scent spreads throughout the entire garden. Blooms once but intensely and for a long time in June-July. A classic.

Roses in Pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.

Bare Root Roses

Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.

At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.

Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
