Introduction Discover the hand cultivator from Dutch Garden, an essential piece of garden tools for every devoted gardener or professional groundskeeper. Made from durable stainless steel and strong FSC-certified wood, this cultivator offers the perfect balance between usefulness and lastingness for effectively working the soil and removing weeds.
Improve the Health of Your Soil This handy cultivator is designed to turn the soil, allowing the earth to absorb more air, light, and water. This process helps make the soil healthier, which is vital for the best growth of plants and crops. Using a hand cultivator is therefore very valuable for maintaining your garden or vegetable patch.
Difference between Hand Cultivator and Hand Rake Unlike a hand rake, which is flatter and has teeth side by side, the Dutch Garden hand cultivator has sharper and separately placed teeth. This makes turning the soil more efficient, especially in heavier soil types. After use, you can easily store the hand cultivator with the leather cord, which adds to ease of use and practicality.
Main Benefits of the Dutch Garden Hand Cultivator
- Effective Weed Control: Ideal for fighting weeds and preparing the soil.
- Promotes Healthier Soil: Helps create a fertile base by aerating and enriching the soil.
- Easy to Store: Equipped with a practical leather cord for simple storage.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
