Through our web stores, privacy-sensitive data or personal data is processed. We attach great importance to careful handling of personal data. Personal data is therefore processed and secured carefully by us.

2. Use of personal data

2.3 Use of contact form and newsletter

The data you send us is usually deleted within 30 days and otherwise kept as long as the content of your message suggests that this is necessary for the full answering and handling thereof.
When sending messages via the webshop, we use the following data:

In addition, we offer a newsletter through which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to easily unsubscribe again. Your email address is automatically added to the database of our email software from which, under a processing agreement, care is taken for the secure handling of your personal data.
2.4 Data stored and accessible via your account dashboard
With our portal, you can access a management environment where you can set, provide, change, and theoretically even anonymize things like address details yourself.
The following data is stored in your account and is also visible to you.

3. Advertising
In addition to the information on our website, we can also inform you about our new products and services: by email, via social media, push notifications, phone, or other communication means. Fortunately: this only happens when you have given explicit permission for it, and this permission can always be withdrawn.

When using our web store, no data is published by default. If this happens, you choose which information you publish yourself; think, for example, of liking or following our social media channels.
5. Disclosure to third parties
In processing your data, we may involve its group companies and other parties. To the extent that these other parties process data on behalf of the services of Belle Epoque, they do so as processors and we have concluded an agreement with those parties. 7. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our webshop. We have a data processing agreement with Google to set terms regarding the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services, and finally, all IP addresses of measured traffic are anonymized with us.
8. Security
We take careful security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. These measures are part of our processes and are periodically reviewed.
9. Retention periods
The personal data described above is retained as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty. After that, your data is kept for a maximum of one year for the described statistical purposes. The data is then deleted unless there is a legal obligation requiring longer retention (such as the seven-year fiscal retention period for payment data).
10. Third-party websites
In our shop, you will also find links to websites of other parties or references to us. Although we carefully select and monitor these relationships, we are not responsible for the processing of your data through these websites. This privacy statement does not apply to them.
