Introduced by Rosen Tantau in 2013, Rosa 'Sirius' represents a true breakthrough in the world of roses. This very flowering bedding rose, carefully cultivated by Belle Epoque, is a novelty with its fresh green leaves and medium-sized flowers that present themselves in rich bunches.

What really sets Rosa 'Sirius' apart is its unique ability to change color. The flowers open in a soft apricot hue and later develop into a radiant pure white, creating a dynamic and visually appealing effect in your garden. This color transformation, combined with the good self-cleaning properties of the flowers, makes 'Sirius' an easy-care choice that provides continuous beauty.

'Sirius' is characterized by a truly bushy growth habit and excellent disease resistance, making it perfect for planting in large areas or as a striking group in beds together with perennials. With its versatility and robustness, this rose is ideal for both extensive landscapes and intimate garden settings.

This rose reaches a height of 60-80 cm, making it a beautiful addition to any outdoor space, both in the ground and in pots. Plant Rosa 'Sirius' in the sun for best results and enjoy its continuous flowering from spring to autumn.

Care Instructions

Caring for rose 'Sirius' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
