Stainless steel garden tools from Belle Epoque ensure that you enjoy your gardening tasks for many years. High-quality tools make gardening a little easier, and our hoe is a perfect example of that. The handle made of responsibly sourced FSC wood is firmly attached to the stainless steel hoe. With a width of 14 centimeters and a handle length of 150 centimeters, you can easily reach all areas of your garden. The curve in the hoe makes it easier to make corners and reach difficult spots.

Why should you hoe? Hoe regularly in your garden to prevent weeds. Use the hoe blade to cut the weeds just above the roots so they dry out in the sun. Be careful not to hoe too much, as this can eventually dry out healthy soil. Keep the hoe flat and move it back and forth just below the surface until the unwanted plants loosen.

The best time to loosen weeds by hoeing is in slightly moist soil, as the roots of the weeds then come loose more easily. Avoid hoeing in very wet soil, as this makes the work heavier. Also, make sure your hoe stays clean and sharp so it lasts longer and performs better.

Main advantages of the Belle Epoque stainless steel hoe:

  • Handy tool for weed control
  • With a curve in the hoe to better reach difficult spots

Roses in a pot

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for roots to develop. This makes the potted rose ideal for year-round planting, especially May to October.

Bare root roses

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants that are delivered without pots or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in the ground. The best time to plant a root rose is autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature is mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare root roses from November to AprilThanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and floriferous shrubs or climbing roses.

Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
