Belle Epoque Takes Step Towards Organic Rose Cultivation"

At Belle Epoque we are excited to announce an important new step in our nursery: we will be switching to fully organic rose growing over the next two years. We have already started growing our rose roots organically, and while this may mean saying goodbye to some varieties, it also opens the door to exciting experiments with new varieties that can grow successfully in an organic environment.

This transition to sustainable and responsible cultivation cannot happen without your help. Your purchases, tips and knowledge are invaluable to make this process a success. We therefore invite you to share your advice and experiences with us by e-mail or in our Facebook group , so that together we can grow the most beautiful organically grown roses.

New Developments at Belle Epoque

In addition to our transition to organic farming, we are pleased to report that Belle Epoque has been in full swing for 8 months now. We have decided to continue to grow and build our business. Over the winter, we will be making adjustments to the greenhouse, including the creation of a second rose field on the right side of the greenhouse, where we will place an additional 1,500 rose plants. This means that by May 2025, we will have over 3,000 rose plants that you can walk through.

Log Cabins in the Greenhouse – Entrepreneurs Wanted!

In addition to this expansion, we will be adding small log cabins in the greenhouse next winter, in which we want to give entrepreneurs the opportunity to offer their services or products. We are looking for people with passion and products that fit in well with the atmosphere and vision of Belle Epoque. Do you have a beautiful product or service and do you want to do business with us in Aalsmeer? Then this is your chance to run a shop-in-shop of 2x2 meters in our greenhouse.

Opening hours & offers

Belle Epoque is open on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Now that the holiday season is over, our nursery is once again filled with beautiful new XL climbers and unique scented garden roses. This is your last chance to get your hands on them, as the greenhouse closes on 31st October and will not reopen until the end of April 2025.

In the greenhouse you will find, besides our roses, a selection of mixed cut roses, available from just 1 euro each. So visit us quickly and take advantage of this unique offer before the greenhouse closes!
