Rosa ‘Princess Anne’ is an unusual rose variety that comes from a different breeding line than most modern cultivars. Retaining the classic flowers with full petals and the tea rose fragrance of traditional English roses, it has an upright, bushy growth habit and shows exceptional resistance to rose diseases.

Flowers of Rosa 'Princess Anne' are born in clusters and appear successively over a long season. They open a red-pink, fade to deep pink as they age, and have a touch of yellow at the base. It is an ideal rose to place at the back of a border and is also a good choice for growing as a hedge.

Het verzorgen van rosa ‘Princess Anne’ is niet moeilijk maar de roos vraagt wel wat tijd en aandacht op regelmatige basis. Rozen hebben veel energie nodig om goed te kunnen groeien en daar helpt voldoende water en voeding bij. Bekijk ook regelmatig of er uitgebloeide bloemknoppen aan de roos zitten. Om energieverspilling te voorkomen kan je deze het beste zo snel mogelijk verwijderen. Daarbij is het verstandig om de roos te bemesten zodat deze weer goede en gezonde voeding kan opnemen. Het advies is om dit twee keer per jaar te doen; in maart en eind juni.
