Reverend H. D'Ombrain at a glance
Let yourself be enchanted by the timeless elegance of Rosa 'Reverend H. D'Ombrain', a rare and historic shrub rose introduced by Margottin in 1863. This beautiful rose, also known by the search term 'Reverend d'Ombrain', adorns your garden with its rich pink, medium-sized (5–8 cm), double flowers. What truly makes this rose special is its intense, classic rose fragrance, which stimulates the senses and adds a touch of nostalgia to any garden. A true treasure for lovers of old-fashioned charm and authentic roses.
With its stately height of 100–120 cm, 'Reverend H. D'Ombrain' is an excellent choice for borders, rose hedges, or as a solitary shrub in parks. This repeat-flowering rose surprises you from June through October with a continuous flow of flowers, provided it receives at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. It is fully winter-hardy and known for its good health, making it a reliable addition to your green oasis. Although it is not suitable for long-term container cultivation, its beauty comes fully into its own when planted in the ground.

Forty years of nothing but roses
Belle Époque is a family business, not a wholesaler. From our greenhouses in Aalsmeer, we have been growing only roses for over four decades — and every plant we send out is personally selected by us. This way, you receive not a catalog rose, but a plant ready to grow.
