The 'Port Sunlight' (Auslofty) is a David Austin rose that enchants your garden with its warm, radiant presence. Its large, rosette-shaped flowers, up to 9 cm wide, are richly filled with countless delicate petals displaying a beautiful apricot-peach color. As the flowers mature, the shades gently fade, creating a dynamic and lively play of colors. The young, bronze-red leaves and stems form a stunning contrast with the flowers and later turn a deep green. One of its most beloved features is the strong, pleasant Tea Rose fragrance that unmistakably drifts through the garden.
This versatile English rose blooms abundantly and reliably from early summer to late autumn, allowing you to enjoy its beauty for months. 'Port Sunlight' is especially suitable as a large shrub rose in borders, mixed beds, or as a solitary plant, where it forms an impressive focal point. Thanks to its vigorous growth, it can also be beautifully trained as a small climbing rose against a wall, fence, or obelisk, where its fragrant flowers can be admired at eye level. Moreover, the elegant flowers are excellent as cut roses, so you can enjoy their charm indoors as well.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
