About Bright Eyes

The 'Bright Eyes' rose, also known as CHEWdelight, is a true eye-catcher with its radiant, semi-double pink flowers. This charming shrub rose, organically grown and SKAL-certified, brings a cheerful touch to any garden. With its delicate, lightly scented flowers measuring 3-5 cm, it attracts bees and butterflies, contributing to a vibrant and biodiverse environment. A rose that enchants with its simplicity and natural beauty.

From June well into October, 'Bright Eyes' treats you to a continuous profusion of flowers. This rose thrives equally well in borders and pots (from Ø 40 cm), making it extremely versatile. After flowering, it develops elegant rose hips, which provide additional ornamental value in autumn and are popular with birds. An ideal choice for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, long-flowering rose.

When you order this rose, it is shipped directly from our nursery to you with the utmost care, ensuring top quality and a healthy start in your garden.

Care & Plants
De 'Bright Eyes' roos wordt geleverd als kale wortel in november. Plant haar dan direct in goed doorlatende, voedzame grond, op een plek met minimaal 4 uur zonlicht per dag. Graaf een ruim plantgat en zorg dat de oculatie (verdikking) net onder de grond zit. De aanbevolen plantafstand is 45 cm.
Snoei deze struikroos in het vroege voorjaar (rond maart), nadat de ergste vorst voorbij is. Verwijder dode, beschadigde of kruisende takken en snoei de overige takken met ongeveer een derde terug om een compacte vorm te behouden en nieuwe bloei te stimuleren. Verwijder uitgebloeide bloemen gedurende het seizoen om de doorbloei te bevorderen.
Geef de 'Bright Eyes' roos regelmatig water, vooral tijdens droge periodes en in het eerste groeiseizoen na aanplant. Voor optimale bloei en groei bemest u de roos in het vroege voorjaar en nogmaals in de zomer met een speciale rozenmest. Een laag mulch rond de voet helpt vocht vast te houden en onkruid te onderdrukken.
