The 'Alexander von Humboldt' (also known as KORhumalex) is a beautiful, organically grown shrub rose that enhances the natural beauty of your garden. This ADR® rose, introduced by Kordes in 2018, is characterized by its vibrant, single red flowers measuring 3–5 cm. Although unscented, it attracts plenty of bees and butterflies with its simple charm and abundant flowering period, turning your garden into a vibrant oasis of life. After flowering, it also develops attractive rose hips, a treat for birds in autumn.
With a compact height of 60–80 cm, the 'Alexander von Humboldt' is ideally suited as a robust ground cover or as a charming addition to borders and parks. This healthy and completely winter-hardy rose blooms continuously from June to October, provided it receives at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Its repeat-flowering nature and low-maintenance character make it an ideal choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners looking for a sustainable, nature-friendly rose.
