The 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' enchants with a regal appearance and unparalleled beauty. This David Austin rose produces strikingly large, cup-shaped flowers, each richly filled with up to 130 delicate petals. The color palette is breathtaking: from a soft, creamy outer edge to a deeper, radiant warm pink center, creating an enchanting visual play in your garden. Beyond its beauty, it is a true fragrance sensation; a fresh tea scent opens, evolves into sparkling citrus notes, and is ultimately enriched with lush fruity accords of blackcurrant. A rose that delights both the eye and the soul.

With its healthy, bushy, and well-rounded growth habit, the 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' is an asset to various garden styles. It excels as a solitary eye-catcher but also feels at home in borders, lush beds, or classic cottage gardens. Due to its compact yet robust size, it is also an excellent choice for large pots on terraces and balconies, where its generous flowers and enticing fragrance come into their own.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you buy this beautiful 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' directly from the grower. Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
