English Miss at a glance
Some roses are beautiful. Others stay with you forever. English Miss® undoubtedly belongs to the latter category.
With its refined soft pink flowers, subtle coral sheen, and irresistible fragrance, this special cluster rose is for us the 'Miss Dior' of roses. Not because it has anything to do with the famous perfume house, but because its appearance evokes the same timeless elegance and feminine refinement.
English Miss® is a rose that doesn’t shout for attention, yet seduces everyone who sees and smells it.
A scent you wouldn’t expect from a cut rose
Anyone who thinks modern cut roses hardly have any scent has never had English Miss® at home.
As soon as the first flowers open, a delightful classic rose fragrance spreads, reminiscent of a summer walk through an English cottage garden. Warm, refined, and natural. A scent that is not only close by but slowly fills the entire room.
That’s exactly why English Miss® is so beloved by people who want to experience flowers, not just see them.
Romantic clusters full of flowers
English Miss® is a true cluster rose. Each stem carries multiple flowers that open one by one. This makes a bouquet change a little every day and remain lively.
The soft pink color with a subtle coral tint gives the rose a special warmth. It combines beautifully with white flowers, apricot tones, and greenery from your own garden and fits perfectly in loose, natural bouquets with the look of an English picking garden.
Directly from the grower
Because Belle Epoque works directly with specialized growers, we can also offer this special garden rose as an exclusive cut rose.
Thanks to the short chain from grower to consumer, you receive flowers that are exceptionally fresh. This allows the flowers to open beautifully in the vase and preserves the natural fragrance optimally.
Our roses are mainly shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
A rare English classic
English Miss® is now rarely available. Occasionally it still blooms in historic gardens in England, where it is loved for its rich bloom, unique color, and delightful fragrance.
Belle Epoque believes such roses should not be lost. That’s why we are working to make English Miss® available again as a garden rose. We hope this special classic will soon not only shine in the vase but also bloom again in Dutch and Belgian gardens.
For every occasion
English Miss® instantly brings atmosphere into your home. Just a few stems in a vase are enough to give a living room, dining table, or hallway a romantic look and a wonderful scent.
It is popular for:
- Luxury bouquets
- Weddings
- Romantic dinners
- Festive table decorations
- Creative floral arrangements
- Loose field bouquets with flowers and greenery from your own garden
With English Miss® you don’t just bring home an ordinary cut rose, but a rare English classic. A rose that enchants with its color, surprises with its scent, and shows how special a true garden rose can be when it comes directly from the grower to your home.
Forty years of nothing but roses
Belle Époque is a family business, not a wholesaler. From our greenhouses in Aalsmeer, we have been growing only roses for over four decades — and every plant we send out is personally selected by us. This way, you receive not a catalog rose, but a plant ready to grow.
"Beautiful climbing rose, bloomed abundantly in the very first year! Well packaged and exactly what I expected based on the description. Belle Époque truly delivers top quality."
"The rose is well packaged and looks beautiful. Fast delivery, and the personal advice via email was very valuable — I wasn’t sure where to plant it."
"Amazing quality & service. I ordered two New Dawns and they are developing beautifully in the garden. Fast shipping from Aalsmeer to Belgium — would absolutely order again."
