About Paul's Himalayan Musk Climber

Discover the enchanting Paul’s Himalayan Musk Rambler, a rose that transforms your garden into a breathtaking display of natural beauty. Its numerous small soft pink flowers, elegantly fading to white, appear in lush, hanging clusters and fill the air with an irresistible, sweet musk fragrance. This spectacular once-blooming rose, with its healthy deep green foliage, creates an unparalleled sea of flowers in June and July that captivates every viewer and attracts bees and butterflies.

With an impressive growth height of 8 to 10 meters, the Paul’s Himalayan Musk Rambler is the perfect choice for beautifying large gardens and landscapes. Let it majestically climb an old tree, embrace a sturdy pergola, or transform a shed or wall into a romantic green canvas full of flowers. It is ideal for creating a lush, natural atmosphere and vertical greenery that reaches upward.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have cherished the art of rose cultivation for over 40 years. Your Paul’s Himalayan Musk Rambler comes directly from our family business, where passion and expertise come together to guarantee the very best quality. We stand for sustainable cultivation and healthy, vigorous plants ready to enrich your garden with their splendor.

Care & Plants
Plant Paul’s Himalayan Musk Rambler in the fall (October-November) or early spring (March-April) as bare root, or year-round as a potted plant. Choose a sunny spot with well-draining, fertile soil. Dig a spacious planting hole, improve the soil with compost, and plant the rose deep enough so that the graft union (swelling) is just below the soil surface. Water generously immediately after planting.
Climbing roses like these are best pruned immediately after flowering in July by removing old, weak, or damaged branches. Thin out the plant if necessary to promote air circulation and maintain healthy growth. Do not prune too severely; preserve the natural shape and the main framework branches.
Water the Paul’s Himalayan Musk Rambler regularly, especially during dry periods and in the first growing season. Fertilize in early spring with a special rose fertilizer and repeat this after flowering if needed to strengthen the plant. A layer of mulch around the base helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.
