With a compact growth habit of 50–90 cm, 'Gruss an Aachen' is particularly versatile. This rose performs best in a spot with at least 6 hours of sun per day, is fully winter-hardy, and is known for its good health, making it a carefree choice for both novice and experienced rose enthusiasts.

Care & Plants
Plant de 'Gruss an Aachen' als kale wortelroos bij voorkeur tussen oktober en april, mits de grond niet bevroren is. Graaf een ruim plantgat, plaats de roos zo dat de entplaats net onder de grond zit en houd een plantafstand van 45 cm aan. Druk de grond goed aan en geef direct royaal water.
Snoei de 'Gruss an Aachen' in het vroege voorjaar, zodra de strengste vorst voorbij is. Verwijder dode, beschadigde of zwakke takken en snoei de overige takken terug tot 3-5 ogen boven de grond om een compacte en bloeirijke struik te behouden.
Geef de 'Gruss an Aachen' direct na het planten ruim water. Zorg tijdens droge periodes voor regelmatige watergift, vooral bij rozen in potten. Bemest de roos in het voorjaar en na de eerste bloei met een biologische rozenmeststof om de doorbloei te stimuleren.
