The Rosa Bonica®, a creation of the famous rose breeder Meilland (1981), is one of the most versatile and reliable floribunda roses. With its soft shell-pink flowers, which appear in generous clusters, and its exceptional hardiness down to -28ºC, this is a rose that thrives everywhere.
The semi-double flowers bloom from June well into autumn, providing a long-lasting sea of blossoms in your garden. The glossy dark green leaves form a beautiful contrast with the fresh petals, making Rosa Bonica® a true eye-catcher.
Thanks to its compact and bushy growth habit (up to about 120 cm tall), it is ideal for:
- Borders and flowerbeds
- Group plantings
- Large pots and containers
- As a solitary plant in a modern or classic garden
Rosa Bonica® is not only beautiful but also practical: it is easy to care for, disease-resistant, and simple to prune. For the best flowering, we recommend pruning in early spring or autumn and fertilizing annually.
Whether you are a beginning gardener or an experienced rose lover, with Rosa Bonica® you bring home a long-lasting and richly blooming rose that will give joy and colour for many years.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
