The 'Clair Matin' is a true ode to the morning dew, a climbing rose that enriches your garden with its effortless charm. Imagine: clusters of semi-double, soft pink flowers, each with a subtle apricot hue at the heart, gracefully opening and spreading a fresh, fruity fragrance. Its loose petals give it a spontaneous, almost wild look, perfect for a natural, romantic atmosphere that bees and butterflies find irresistible.
This vigorous and repeat-flowering climbing rose is a popular choice for beautifying pergolas, fences, and facades. With its healthy growth and excellent disease resistance, the 'Clair Matin' thrives effortlessly in the Dutch climate. It grows elegantly upright and remains relatively narrow, making it an impressive vertical accent even in smaller gardens or against a narrow wall, blooming profusely from early summer well into autumn.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have cherished a passion for roses for over 40 years. The 'Clair Matin' comes directly from our family business, where craftsmanship and sustainable cultivation go hand in hand. We guarantee you a top-quality climbing rose, lovingly grown and ready to transform your garden into a blooming paradise.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
