The Rosa ‘Gen’ (Wabara) is an exclusive Japanese rose now available for the first time in Europe – directly from our Belle Epoque nursery. This special variety comes from the renowned Miyabi series of the Japanese breeder Wabara and symbolizes refined grace and deep presence.
The name ‘Gen’ means string and refers to the rich, captivating sound of a cello and the strength of a violin bow playing harmony. Just like its name, this rose radiates calm, strength, and understated beauty.
The flowers have warm, deep shades that evoke a luxurious, almost meditative atmosphere. During blooming, ‘Gen’ develops a majestic flower shape, beloved by florists and designers for exclusive bouquets. In the cut rose world, it is also known as Miyabi Brown and Miyabi Cha.
