The Rosa 'Albéric Barbier' is a classic with timeless charm — a lush, cream-white rambler rose that transforms any garden into a romantic scene. The striking yellow, pointed buds open up to filled, softly scented flowers with a subtle cream hue. Together with the shiny dark green leaves, this creates an elegant, natural appearance.
This powerful, winter-hardy rambler grows effortlessly in both sun and partial shade and is ideal for covering pergolas, old walls, sheds or fences. The long, flexible shoots can reach up to six meters and form a rich bloom from June until late in the summer.
At Belle Epoque, the 'Albéric Barbier' is available as a XL climbing rose of 160 cm upon shipment and approximately 200 cm when picked up.Available from April to October, fresh from our nursery in Aalsmeer — where craftsmanship and love for the rose come together.

Roses in Pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.
Bare Root Roses
Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.
At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.
Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
