The Anne Boleyn (Aussecret), introduced by David Austin in 1999, is a refined English rose that exudes charm and elegance. Her large clusters of soft pink, rosette-shaped flowers open with a subtle bud-shaped heart. The shiny, fresh green foliage forms a perfect contrast and emphasizes the soft appearance of the flowers.

This rose has a low-growing, bushy, and round growth habit, making it ideal for borders, beds, or as a solitary shrub in a cottage or classic garden. It blooms profusely from June until deep into the autumn, allowing you to enjoy its soft colors for months.

The Anne Boleyn is not only loved for her beauty, but also for her easy care. Thanks to her compact size, she stays neat and orderly, and with an annual pruning in early spring, the plant maintains its vigorous growth and rich bloom.

Named after Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII, this rose brings a touch of historical elegance to the garden.

Roses in Pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.

Bare Root Roses

Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.

At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.

Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
