The rose Princess Maya® (Night Rain) is a unique and rare garden rose, originally from Japan. Its soft peach-like petals open into a medium-sized rose with a striking quarter rose pattern: the outer petals curl downwards and form star-like points, while the inner petals arrange themselves in beautiful, detailed folds. The delightful lavender scent with a fragrance intensity of 4 out of 5 makes this rose a special addition to the garden.

Although this rose was primarily cultivated as a garden rose in Japan for many years, in Colombia and Kenya this rose has been further developed as a cut rose, and Princess Maya is now also being grown in the Netherlands as a garden rose, exclusively at Belle Epoque. The rose is still in full development in the Dutch climate and is only available in limited quantities: less than 20 specimens. This makes it a true collector's item for the adventurous rose lover.

Princess Maya grows fully open, with a flower size that can vary from 4 to 8 cm.
