About Apple Jack

Meet 'Apple Jack', a cheerful, organically grown shrub rose that enriches your garden with its simple beauty. This charming rose, discovered by Kenny in 2009 and also known by the registered name KENendure, shines with its single, medium-sized yellow flowers. The soft, lightly fragrant blooms are a true magnet for bees and butterflies, transforming your outdoor space into a vibrant oasis. 'Apple Jack' is a versatile addition to any garden. Reaching a height of 80-100 cm, this rose is perfect for borders, but also lends itself excellently to pots (from Ø 40 cm), rose hedges, or as part of a park planting scheme. After flowering, 'Apple Jack' develops beautiful rose hips, which are not only decorative in autumn and winter but also provide a food source for birds. Enjoy an exceptionally healthy and fully winter-hardy rose that asks little and gives much.

Care & Plants
Deze biologisch geteelde roos wordt geleverd als roos met kale wortel en kan het beste in november geplant worden, zodra de grond niet bevroren is. Graaf een ruim plantgat en zorg voor goed gedraineerde grond. Houd een plantafstand aan van 45 cm tussen de planten voor een optimaal resultaat, of plaats hem solitair in een pot vanaf Ø 40 cm.
Snoei 'Apple Jack' in het vroege voorjaar (februari/maart), zodra de ergste vorst voorbij is en de sapstroom weer op gang komt. Verwijder dode, beschadigde of kruisende takken en snoei de overige takken terug tot ongeveer 15-20 cm boven de grond, boven een naar buiten gericht oog. Dit stimuleert nieuwe groei en een overvloedige bloei.
Geef uw 'Apple Jack' roos tijdens droge periodes regelmatig water, vooral in het eerste groeiseizoen. Voor een rijke bloei en gezonde groei is jaarlijkse bemesting essentieel; gebruik bij voorkeur organische rozenmest in het voorjaar en eventueel nogmaals in de zomer. Een laag mulch rond de basis helpt vocht vasthouden en onkruid onderdrukken.
