The 'Queen of Sweden' (Austiger) is a David Austin rose that enriches your garden with regal elegance. From delicate apricot-pink buds unfold broad, shallow flowers in an enchanting soft pink shade, each richly filled with about 41 petals. This graceful appearance is accompanied by a refined myrrh scent, spreading a soft and sweet fragrance throughout your garden. Its upright, bushy growth and healthy, dark green Musk Rose foliage, known for its excellent disease resistance, make it a true gem.

The elegant shape and subtle color variations make the 'Queen of Sweden' exceptionally versatile. It is the perfect choice for borders, where it blends seamlessly with various plantings, but also shines beautifully as a solitary plant in a large pot or as a charming hedge. Moreover, it is excellent as a cut rose for the vase, bringing the royal atmosphere of your garden indoors and enriching your cutting garden.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you buy this beautiful 'Queen of Sweden' rose directly from the grower. With over 40 years of family experience in rose cultivation, we guarantee superior quality, grown with passion and expertise. Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
