The Rosa Bonica®, a masterpiece by the famous French rose breeder Meilland (1981), has been a worldwide favorite for decades. Let yourself be enchanted by its abundant clusters of soft shell pink, semi-double flowers, which emit a subtle but delightful classic rose fragrance. The glossy dark green leaves provide a beautiful contrast and give this XL climbing rose a fresh, timeless elegance that will enrich your garden from June well into autumn.

Whether you dream of a lush border, an atmospheric flower bed, or an impressive solitary eye-catcher, the Bonica® feels at home anywhere. With its compact, bushy growth and exceptional disease resistance, it is a true asset to any garden. It also excels as a low climbing rose against a fence, obelisk, or wall, and its attraction to bees and butterflies makes it a lively and valuable addition to your outdoor space.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have cherished the art of rose growing for over 40 years. Your Bonica® is cultivated with love and expertise, directly from our nursery to your garden. We guarantee healthy, strong plants that will shine season after season with the right care, as proof of our sustainable approach and passion for roses.

Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
