Imagine: a rose that not only delights the eye with its intense cyclamen pink beauty but also pampers the taste buds. That is our Rosa Dolce! With its richly filled flowers of about 6 cm, each with no less than 61 petals, it is a feast for both the eyes and the mouth. The fruity scent and the fresh, sweet-tart flavor – reminiscent of red berries – remain beautifully preserved, even when you use it in delicious jam, syrup, or tea. A culinary gem that transforms your salads, desserts, and drinks into true works of art, and whose dried petals retain their color and flavor for long-lasting enjoyment.
With its compact and healthy growth habit (40-50 cm tall), the Dolce feels at home anywhere. It is the perfect choice for pots and containers on your balcony or terrace, as a charming ground cover in flower beds, or as a flavorful addition to your organic (vegetable) garden and food forest. Moreover, this ever-blooming beauty from April to October attracts busy bees and cheerful butterflies, making your garden a lively and biodiverse place.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we nurture our roses with over 40 years of expertise and passion. The Rosa Dolce is lovingly and organically grown, exclusively for you. Directly from our family nursery to your garden, we guarantee a healthy, strong plant ready to stimulate your senses and enrich your culinary creations.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
