This vigorous rambler rose creates an impressive sea of flowers in June and July. The semi-double, creamy white flowers have a golden-yellow centre and release a wonderful musky fragrance. Bees also know where to find the flowers.
A super rambler with grand ambitions
Bobby James grows incredibly quickly and easily reaches a height of 6 metres. Under favourable conditions, it can climb even higher. This makes it a beautiful choice for a large pergola, a sturdy rose arch or a mature tree.
Give this rambler plenty of space and sturdy support. Its long branches create a lush, natural effect that becomes more beautiful every year.
Be patient… and then: wow!
Bobby James blooms once a year, but does so abundantly. After planting, it may take a few years before it shows its full flowering potential. First, it builds up its roots and branches; then the spectacle begins.
After flowering, small rose hips may appear, adding extra colour in autumn.

Plant Bobby James in a sunny spot in fertile, well-drained soil. Give it plenty of water during dry periods, especially in the first year. Guide the young branches along the support and tie them carefully in place. Prune as needed after flowering, so you can enjoy its flowers again the following summer.
