Product form

Discover the enchanting beauty of Rosa 'Desdemona', a jewel from our collection of old shrub roses, exclusively offered by Belle Epoque. This rose charms with its unique cup-shaped flowers, colored in the most delicate pink, which spread an irresistible almond-lemon scent. The perfect choice for a striking presence in the middle of the border, at the front of your garden, or as a solitary beauty in a large pot or container.

For flowering that lasts all summer, we recommend carefully preparing the soil before planting and mulching it annually with well-rotted manure or garden compost. Regularly cutting away dead flowers of Rosa 'Desdemona' encourages a longer flowering period, so that you can enjoy its beauty even longer.

At Belle Epoque we understand the value of quality and sustainability. That is why we offer roses that come directly from our nursery, so that you are assured of the best quality and freshness. Rosa 'Desdemona' is not only a visual spectacle, but also a fragrant addition that transforms any garden into an oasis of peace and beauty.

Care Instructions

Caring for rose 'Desdemona' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
