Belle Epoque takes a step towards Organic Rose Cultivation"

At Belle Epoque we are pleased to announce an important new step in our nursery: we will switch completely to organic rose cultivation over the next two years. We have already started growing our rose roots organically, and while this may mean saying goodbye to some varieties, it also opens the door for exciting experimentation with new varieties that can grow successfully in an organic environment.

This transition to sustainable and responsible cultivation cannot happen without your help. Your purchases, tips, and knowledge are invaluable to make this process successful. We invite you to share your advice and experiences with us via email or in our Facebook group, so that together we can grow the most beautiful organically grown roses.

New Developments At Belle Epoque

In addition to our transition to organic cultivation, we are happy to report that Belle Epoque has now been in full swing for 8 months. We have decided to continue growing and building our company. In the winter we will make adjustments to the greenhouse, including creating a second rose field on the right side of the greenhouse, where we will place 1,500 additional rose plants. This means that in May 2025 we will have more than 3,000 rose plants that you can walk through.

Log Cabins in the Greenhouse – Entrepreneurs Wanted!

In addition to this expansion, we will add small log cabins in the greenhouse next winter, in which we will accommodate entrepreneurs want to give them the opportunity to offer their services or products. We are looking for people with passion and products that fit well with the atmosphere and vision of Belle Epoque. Do you have a great product or service and would you like to do business with us in Aalsmeer? Then this is your chance to run a shop-in-shop of 2x2 meters in our greenhouse.

Opening hours & offers

Belle Epoque is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Now that the holiday period is over, our nursery is again full of beautiful new XL climbing plants and unique scented garden roses. This is your last chance to get it, because the greenhouse will close on October 31 and won't open again until the end of April 2025.

In addition to our roses, in the greenhouse you will also find a selection of mixed cut roses, available from just 1 euro each. So visit us quickly and take advantage of this unique offer before the greenhouse closes!
