The Rosa Margaret Merril is a refined floribunda, introduced by Harkness in 1977, and is celebrated worldwide for its elegant beauty and unforgettable scent. Its pure white flowers open with a hint of soft pink at the heart, creating a subtle and classic play of colors.
The flowers appear in clusters and emit an intense perfume that enchants every garden or vase. The healthy, leathery foliage forms a beautiful contrast with the delicate flowers. Margaret Merril blooms abundantly and continuously from early summer to autumn, and also attracts bees and other beneficial pollinators.
With a compact height of 60–80 cm, this rose is versatile: in borders, in pots, or as a romantic cut flower for indoors. Its exceptional scent and elegant appearance make Margaret Merril an absolute favorite for lovers of classic and fragrant roses.

Roses in Pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.
Bare Root Roses
Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.
At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.
Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
