Dahlia Ivannetti is an elegant, richly blooming dahlia with a deep, warm color and a refined look. The full flowers and rich tones instantly add atmosphere to the garden and pair beautifully with roses and other perennials.
This dahlia comes from our collaboration with Dobbe Flowers. At the nursery in Aerdenhout, Theo Dobbe – at 83 years old – still works daily alongside his son Patrick. Here, the tubers are carefully selected and grown in open ground. You can see the craftsmanship in the strong, healthy plants with rich and long-lasting blooms.
When to plant?
Plant dahlia tubers from mid-April, preferably after the last frost (usually early May). If you want to start earlier, you can pre-grow the tubers indoors or in a greenhouse.
What can you expect?
From one strong dahlia tuber grows a powerful plant that blooms all summer long. Expect around 20 to over 50 flowers per plant. By regularly cutting the flowers, the plant will keep producing new buds and extend the blooming period.
Why choose Dahlia Ivannetti?
- Directly from the grower (Dobbe Flowers)
- Strong tubers, grown in open ground
- Long bloom period from June to October
- Deep color and elegant appearance
- Beautifully combined with roses
You are warmly welcome to visit our store to see the tubers for yourself — this is the kind that instantly adds a luxurious feel to your garden.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
